Road to Open MetaDescription
Tasha Mellins-Cohen of COUNTER presented "The hows, whys and wherefores of book usage metrics" and addressed how usage metrics fit into the broader set of impact and ROI measurements. In this talk, she highlighted the ways COUNTER metrics can and should be used with open access materials, the differences between books and other types of content, and why chapter-level metadata is critical for accurate metrics.
